Bad news flash!
My cousin, Charlie, went to the Rainbow Bridge on August 17, 2006. This was very sad for me, as my sister, Taffy, passed away on July 29 2006. I lost two furry family members in a very short time!
My Daddy Len had a short layover in Palm Beach last week and he was on the lookout for Florida animals for me. (He is a pilot, if you don't remember.)I must reprimand my reporter, Daddy Len, to make sure that he tries harder next time for a better shot. These could have been famous poodles!
My Daddy Len must be like the paparazzi and do whatever it takes to come back to home base with the very best shot! I'll tell him this tonight when I have my nightly belly snuggle.......
I decided to post another photo from the Fort Worth Zoo today. These animals are a type of antelope and are called Lesser Kudu, but I am not sure what is "lesser" about them. They look "great" to me!
My mom took these pictures at her mom's house in Livermore, California last weekend. My grandma likes to feed the birds and she is sure it is the same blue jay that comes back every year to her house.
Mom saw some black vultures today when she was driving home from the store. She tried to get a better picture of them, but they kept flying away, as if they were scared of mom.....yeah right! Vultures are scavengers, and not scared of anything!
Here are some goat friends of mine. I don't know what kind of goats they are. They live out in the country with the llamas that I posted a while ago. 
Not too many words today...nearly a Wordless Wednesday. It is hard for me to be wordless, because I like to talk so much!
Today I would like to introduce you to my friend, a Triton Cockatoo, named Troy. My mom saw him when she visited St. Thomas last year.
My mom is still away from home, but she sent me some pictures! This is my new friend, Alexis. Alexis is a boxer and lives in Livermore, California, and is a neighbor of my mom's mom. Her daddy says she is small for a boxer, and she only weighs about 45 pounds. That sounds pretty big to me, because I only weigh 7 pounds!

I wanted to change continents today, and show you some kangaroo friends. Kangaroos usually come from Australia, like some of my new blogging friends. They have really long powerful hind legs and can run up to 50km per hour! 
Ok, ok. So the lions and tigers from my last post are not really like us small cats. They have whiskers and furs like us, but they are a little frightening! So........here is a picture that my mom's cousin from Holland sent us. She said her friend posed her cat this way. It is a handsome tiger tabby cat, and he lives near my cousin, Monte, in Holland.
My kitty friends say they like seeing kitty photos and so they like to visit my Small World. I thought I had better post some kitties in my Big World too, in order to keep my kitty friends coming back to see me here too. 
Mom has to drive out to East Texas for work sometimes, and she passes by a ranch called Toon Town Texotics, off of Interstate 20.
My, what long eyelashes a camel has! My eyelashes are not that long!
Since I am from Texas, I thought it would be fitting to post an animal friend that is very often associated with all things Texas. This is my longhorn friend. He posed very nicely for my mom with a big mouthful of hay.
The dinosaur photos from yesterday were not my favorite, so let me post some birdies to make me feel better!
Mom and Daddy Len went to a museum over the weekend. The museum was having a special exhibition of replicas of dinosaurs, and it sounded like it was going to be very interesting to me for my blog.
But what a surprise it was, when mom brought home the pictures she took! I have never seen dinosaurs before.......though I am pretty smart, and know they are extinct.....but I thought they would at least look real! They did not......they looked fake, fake, fake!! Take a look and tell me what you think. I think they look like cartoons!
